The General Officers’ Sword by Ammo & Co represents the highest level of British military ceremonial craftsmanship. Carried by General Officers of the British Army and Royal Marines, this sword is a distinguished symbol of command, tradition, and service to the Crown. Each sword is handcrafted to UK MoD ceremonial specification, ensuring accuracy, balance, and excellence in every detail.

Forged from a single piece of steel, the blade and tang are hardened and tempered to within 400–500 HV for superior strength and flexibility. The 805mm polished blade is complemented by a gold-plated brass backpiece and crosspiece, both precision-cast and hand-finished. The sword’s grip, made from polished imitation ivory, provides a refined, timeless contrast to the richly gilt fittings.

Additional features include gold-plated brass rosettes, screws, knot bushes, and crossbar, assembled with precision and finished to ceremonial standard. A white leather buff completes the fitting, while the sword is housed in a nickel-plated steel scabbard with a brass mouthpiece and twin carrying rings for parade and presentation use.
